Karolina Dejnicka
Karolina first became interested in translation as a graduate student, when she learned how few works of Turkish literature have been translated into English. She has a BA and MA from the University of Toronto, where her studies focused on the history and politics of Turkey and the surrounding regions.
Nefise Kahraman
Nefise is a Toronto-based literary scholar and translator with a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Toronto. She holds a BA in Translation Studies from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul. She is passionate about collaborative literary translation and, alongside English and Turkish, she also works in French and Persian.
